Go inside and ask what is it that you really want. Do this first before
you read on and even write it down. This will identify a need or a want.
What is the need/want underneath your desire? Notice the attachment to having
what you desire. Notice that there is an insistence to having what you want
as a way of being happy. Now for the radical step........Be willing to give
it up!!! Simply say "I let go of my insistence to have [...........]" Take
some time with this step and really feel into your process. Feel the fear
that comes up. Feel the desire to be in control. Know that it is only in
giving up what you think you need or want that it can actually come to you.
But by this point it won't actually matter whether it comes to you or not
- you would now be in a truer state with yourself, having let go of the
attachment.
